Vivian Pérez is a Cuban composer, pianist & audio engineer currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. She has made it her mission to spread the light of the Cuban music to the world!

 

She gathered her favorite musicians from The University of Arts & National School of Arts of Havana in 2013 and founded her band Luz D'Habana with great success. Together they have played in several editions of the Jazz Plaza Festival in Cuba and in 2015 they and released their first album "Luz" with original songs written by Vivian Pérez. Following the release they went touring around Central America and the Caribbean; to Mexico, Antigua, Barbuda, Belize, Saint Martin, Curacao and Surinam to name a few.

Vivian moved to Sweden in 2020 and continued developing her band and musical vision in a new constellation of musicians. Today Luz D'Habana are playing at well known venues in Sweden such as Stampen, Hotell Hellsten and TAK. Next they're aiming for Europe to bring musical joy and light to new audiences!
